What is Covered with Race Insurance?
FYI - The race insurance company will ask for evidence of the claim. They will not give you a refund without proof.
How to Get Race Insurance and Cost?
Only during registration (not after) you elect to get race insurance during check out.
Cost is based on cost of the race registration fees.
- $2.99 for registrations up to $24.99
- $3.99 for registrations between $25.00 and $49.23
- 8.1% of the registration fee for anything above $49.23
- Plus related taxes and fees by state
They will refund your registration fees minus the insurance fees.
How to Claim Your Refund
Because insurance can be a challenge we have put together a guide to help you claim your race insurance.
- First off, get your evidence together. If you are injured or pregnant, get a doctor's note showing you are not able to race. If you have to miss for a work trip get a note from your employer. They want proof.
